綜合媒體報導，定價 999 美元的 iPhone X，若依目前匯率換算，大約是新台幣 3 萬 100 元左右，不過在台售價公布後卻超過 3 萬 5 千元，還比其他機種要貴上 1 萬元左右，甚至比美國、日本、香港等國家都還要貴。

原來是因為，iPhone X 價格並非完稅價格，還須加上運費、保險、出口來台的成本、另付完稅價格 5% 營業稅、萬分之 4 推廣貿易服務費等，這些費用皆會轉嫁消費者身上，也因此價格相對較高。
